Series 600 Coating Description

Series 600-Pure Coatings are ‘next-generation’ coating architectures in thin film technology. Special sputtering techniques and low-pressure plasma treatment enable coverage of complex surfaces and creation of a variety of unique material properties.
Surface enhancements can include: non-wetting, release (no stick), lower friction, corrosion protection, heat transfer, resistance to thermal oxidation, dielectric strength, electrical conductivity, resistance to wear, and hardness.
Specific coatings are FDA compliant, USDA approved and biocompatible (ISO 10993).

Resists wear and abrasion up to 12 times better
than stainless steel.

Provides a smooth, dense, ultra-hard coating (to 90
Rc).

Provides enhanced non-stick (release) properties.
|
|
|
|
No dimensional change - standard thickness of 1-2 micro meters.

|
Provides good corrosion resistance.
