Thermal Spray coatings can be successfully applied to most ferrous and non-ferrous metals, steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, titanium & their alloys.
The coating thickness depends on the specific Series coating being applied, and may range from 0.003 inch to 0.015 inch. Most coatings are applied between 0.005 inch to 0.008 inch, and the standard process tolerance is controlled to ±0.0025 inch, although it may be held to ±0.001 inch.
The surface finish (RMS) will depend on the specific Series 900 coating being applied, and typically will range between 150 to 300 micro-inches. RMS values less than 150 micro-inches are achievable without polishing or machining the coated surface.
Exact hardness values are not available due to the many coating variations and the composite nature of our hybrid coatings, although, typical values range between 45 and 70 Rc.

Series 900 coatings are inert to most chemicals, including acids, alkalies and solvents, and exhibit excellent corrosion resistance. Upon request, we will supply coated samples and recommend that you evaluate the selected Endura® coating under your specific application conditions.
Series 900 coatings are engineered to provide permanent non-stick properties in aggressive application environments where traditional fluoropolymer coatings have limited life. Coatings provide contamination free surfaces and provide easy cleaning with only water or mild detergents when necessary, subsequently eliminating the need for hazardous chemical cleaning.
Coatings will withstand severe temperature extremes without loss of physical properties, and are designed for operation in environments from cryogenic temperatures to 600° F. Coatings are available to 1000° F.
Our "Thermal Spray Polymer Matrix" coatings are available from highly conductive to providing superior dielectric strength (typically to 1000 volts/mil).
Series 900 "Thermal Spray Polymer Matrix" coatings are both oleophobic and hydrophobic, therefore, resist wetting by most liquids. Cleanup is easier, more thorough, and in many cases is reduced, or unnecessary.
