Composite diamond coating, also know as cdc coating, is a unique, patented technology for diamond integration throughout a proprietary, autocatalytic, nickel alloy. The ingenuity of the matrix is in its perfection of wear & abrasion, particle size, geometry and dispersion, to create the physical properties of diamond, the hardest material known (10,000 Knoop scale), on all conforming surfaces and most alloys. Nano-composites are available for precision lower builds; higher CDC builds are attainable to 0.010 inch with sustainable properties.
CDC Coating Performance Benefits
Series 1100 BOR-FUSE™ is a thermo-chemical surface-hardening process in which boron atoms are diffused into a base metal surface to form super-hard boride layers. The process is advantageous to surfaces requiring exceptional hardness for wear, abrasion or impact resistance, with no dimensional growth added.
BOR-FUSE™ is accomplished at temperatures between 850-950ºC in an inert or reducing atmosphere. This results in formation of a surface layer of iron boride (Fe2B), which has a tetragonal structure and hardness value in the range of VHW100 = 2000.
Bor-Fuse™ Performance Benefits
Series 1100 DEBURR 1000™ is a revolutionary process for de-burring most types of steel. This unique electroless chemical process removes burrs on steel parts created by cutting, milling, forging and molding without distortion of the most intricately shaped parts.
DEBURR 1000™ provides numerous advantages over conventional methods, such as grinding, polishing, thermal and electrolysis, which require excessive labor and additional operating costs. This economical and reliable process will not damage sensitive surfaces often caused by tumbling and grinding operations.
